Revelation: Adult Education at the Oceanfront Campus - Sundays @ 10:30am

April 8th - May 20th, 2018

The Book of Revelation, a Chapter by Chapter Study led by Pastor Scott Hoffman

Our in-depth look at the Book of Revelation and we have been talking about eternity and the glory of being with Jesus forever. Here’s something from the class to think about this week: Heaven is in eternity and eternity has no past, present or future, so when we get to Heaven, everybody who is ever going to be there is already there! That’s the kind of discussions we’ve been having. Why not pour a cup of coffee in Fellowship Hall after the worship service and bring it with you when you join us?

Women's Bible Study: "Steadfast Love: A Study of Psalm 107"

April 9th - May 21st, 2018

$0 - $13

Join us as we study "Steadfast Love: A Study of Psalm 107" by Lauren Chandler. Monday evenings, 6:45, beginning April 9.

There are times when worship overflows effortlessly from a heart full of gratitude and praise. And there are times when God seems far and we feel we have nothing to offer. Throughout it all, God shows us His steadfast love.

Psalm 107 is a call to worship. It reminds us that each season of life is an opportunity to reveal the anchor of our souls. In this 7-session Bible study, learn to face both storms and deserts with courage and trust in Jesus, and discover how tests in our journeys of faith reveal the true condition of our hearts. For there is no fear for the one who fears the Lord, the one whose soul is anchored in His steadfast love.

Facilitator: Maureen Kolstee

Location: Trinity Church Oceanfront Campus, 401 35th St, 23451

NOTE: Books purchased will be available on the first night of your study.

Anxious

Women's Bible Study: Anxious for Nothing by Max Lucado, Tuesday Evenings

April 10th - May 8th, 2018

$0 - $10

Join us as we study Anxious for Nothing by Max Lucado, Tuesday evenings at 7 pm, beginning April 10.

"Do you feel weighted down with worry? Does the uncertainty and chaos of life keep you up at night? Are irrational fears your constant companion? Could you use some calm?

In this five-session video Bible study, bestselling author Max Lucado explores God’s treatment plan for anxiety found in Philippians 4:4–8. As you follow this prescription – celebrating God’s goodness, asking for his help, leaving your concerns with him, and meditation on good things – you will experience God’s peace. This is a peace that “transcends all understanding” and will help you reframe the way you look at your fears.

While anxiety is a part of life, it doesn’t have to dominate your life. With God as your helper and his promises at your side, you can sleep better tonight and smile more tomorrow. You can talk yourself off the ledge and view bad news through the lens of God’s sovereignty. You can discover a life of calm and develop tools for combating the onslaught of anxiety."

Facilitator: Sarah Beth Stone
Location: Sarah Beth's home in downtown Norfolk (address to be sent in confirmation email).

NOTE: Books purchased will be available on the first night of your study.
